Starting last September, eight connect groups began meeting—some in homes, some at church, some using a
simple Bible discussion guide, others using a format of their own choosing. Leaders have reported back about
great discussions, deepening friendships, and new outreach projects taking shape. Awesome!
Now is your chance to join!
Six of these groups will continue in 2018, and invite you to jump in! See the list below and contact the leader to
ask questions or sign up. We are hoping to create new groups in February — if you would like to host or be part of a newly forming group,
contact Pastor Jeremy.

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly and honest environment. No pressure. No follow up. No charge. Alpha runs in churches, homes, coffee shops and bars all around the globe. Typically Alpha has ten sessions, which include food, a short talk and a time of small group discussion where you can share your thoughts. It covers topics such as, “Who is Jesus?”, “Why and how do I pray?”, and “How can I resist evil?”
Alpha has been effective, due to the makeup of its DNA. Course hosts and helpers are designed to function more as facilitators than teachers or leaders. Alpha guests are made to feel welcome and at ease in an environment of food, fellowship, study and conversation. Guests come to the truth in a safe, explorative environment.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” -Philippians 4:6-7
