Dear Oak Hills Family,

Thanks to all who joined us for a fun dessert night on Sunday!  The spread of tasty treats was truly unbelievable, and the time together was a blast.  Look for this event to become a tradition!  Special thanks to Susan Teague for the creative vision that made this event such a success.

This Sunday is Mother’s Day, and it’s a full day in worship. We’ll share the Lord’s Supper, hear a quarterly finance update from the session, and move into the beautiful closing section of Galatians, where we discover the secret of a changed life.  Join us!  Worship at 10am in-person or online.

Here is your verse for today: “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power;put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, for ourstruggle is not against blood and flesh but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand on the evil day and, having prevailed against everything, to stand firm.” Ephesians 6:10-13.

In Him,

Jeremy
