Jeremy Sanderson
Pastor/Head of Staff
Jeremy followed God’s call to Oak Hills in 2015, and is continually grateful to serve alongside the good people of this community. Prior to Oak Hills, Jeremy served churches in Spokane, Washington and Haddonfield, New Jersey. He is a graduate of Wheaton College (IL) and Princeton Theological Seminary (NJ). The most important role he plays is that of husband to his amazing wife, Sarah, and father to his four growing children, Abby, Josiah, Levi and Isaac. Having experienced Christ’s unmerited grace in his own life, his desire is to nurture a church fellowship that embodies the grace of Christ, bringing healing to broken lives. Jeremy loves preaching, singing, strumming a guitar, good coffee, good fiction, and the Seattle Seahawks (not necessarily in that order).

Christy Polk
Associate Pastor for Adult Education
Since joining the Oak Hills staff in 2010, Christy has been blessed to serve in several capacities beginning in children’s and youth ministries and transitioning to work with adults. She is joined in her calling by her husband Eben and children Evie and James, who alongside their wife/mom love the church and serve it with their own unique gifts. Christy was raised in California, schooled in Washington (Whitworth University) and North Carolina (Duke Divinity School), and is now proud to call Oregon her home. She loves the Lord Jesus Christ, and firmly believes he is the true hope for all humankind. Other likes and loves include teaching and preaching, solving crossword puzzles, listening to British comedy, food, and theology podcasts, and curling up with a good book.
Susan Teague
Director of Children's Ministries
Susan Teague joined the Oak Hills staff in September of 2021. She and her family have attended Oak Hills since 2015. Susan has been involved in an in-depth Bible study for years that recognizes the value of teaching the Bible to even the youngest church attenders. Over the years her passion for teaching the gospel to children has grown and joining the staff as the new Children’s Director seemed like a natural fit. When not planning and organizing Children’s ministry you can find her shuttling her two children to and from activities, volunteering in BSF, organizing closets, or camping with her husband, Robbie, and their kids.
Sue Howard
Office Administrator
A seasoned Presbyterian, Sue has served on Presbytery committees and church sessions. She now serves Oak Hills as our office administrator, managing the day to day business and communication needs of the church. When not at Oak Hills, you can find Sue on the sidelines cheering on her athletic grandkids, working on a sewing or quilt project, or braving the Oregon outdoors in pursuit of Geocaches.

Gary Miillé
Choir Director
A long-time fixture at Oak Hills, Gary brings an extensive background in the choral arts to his role directing our chancel choir. Gary enjoys all styles of musical worship, lending his vocal talents to our contemporary praise team as well. His breadth of musical knowledge stems in part from his passion for global travel, which he pursues whenever possible!
Tanya Stojanovich
Worship Director
Raised in the Pentecostal tradition, Tanya grew up singing and playing her praises to the Lord. In her role at Oak Hills, she brings a Spirit-led energy to all styles of musical worship. In addition to leading our contemporary worship team, Tanya accompanies the Oak Hills choir on piano. She and her husband Aleksandr, a native of Serbia, enjoy an active household surrounded by their two energetic puppies, Aleksandr’s teenaged daughter Petra and their young daughter Sofia.
Rebekah Gartner
Nursery Attendant
Rebekah Gartner is a veteran of our Oak Hills Youth Ministry, a graduate of Rex Putnam High School, and a recent culinary school graduate. Rebekah cares for the youngest Oak Hills attendees in our nursery on Sunday mornings, and during the week is a cook at Olympia Provisions.
